We want to let everyone know how GREEN and ECO-FRIENDLY we are at Marshpoint Dentistry. We recycle all of our office paper, cardboard boxes, plastic #1 & #2 bottles, glass, aluminum, and toner cartridges. This is a lot of organization and trips to the recycling center on Wilmington Island! However, we feel this extra effort is doing the earth (and our community) a big favor. So we feel it is definitely worth it.

Our office is paperless, saving a countless number of trees. Even our newsletter is paperless! We use digital x-rays, requiring no film or chemicals to develop images. This also reduces radiation exposure to our patients by approximately 80%.

We are looking forward to installing an amalgam reclaimation system soon. This is specialized equipment that will separate amalgam (silver filling material) from the public water system and be disposed of properly. To our knowledge, we will be the first dental office in Savannah to have this. We are proud to be the trailblazers!
