Welcome to the Savannah Branch of the United States Green Building Council Georgia Chapter - a group dedicated to promoting sustainable design and green building throughout the Creative Coast.

The Savannah Branch of the USGBC-GA Chapter is a diverse group of people interested in learning more about green building and sustainable design.  Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend our meetings and training seminars. Our usual mix consists of architects, interior designers, students, contractors, professors, engineers, property owners and many other professions.

Our Branch Leadership Group consists of 13 members who have shown leadership in the local community and sustainable building industry

The USGBC-Savannah Branch seeks to improve the built environment in Coastal Georgia. As such, we seek to:

• Educate the public on the long term benefits of green building and how sustainable design can be integrated or implemented into one's life;
• Encourage widespread acceptance of sustainable design principles, including the LEED rating system, within both local government and the construction and development community as a whole.
• Improve the built environment and quality of life in the Southeast Coastal region by promoting sustainability initiatives that positively and profitably impact the community and the environment.

Monthly meetings are held at the Wild Wing Cafe in City Market (on the second floor) unless otherwise noted.  Please check the website for current information on meetings.  These meeting are free and open to the public.
